Save Your Clothes With Color Bleed
We've all had it happen . . . that red sock snuck in with the whites and now your husband's tighty whities are a beautiful shade of Pink. I'll save your life with these tips and you'll keep the hubby happy, happy, happy.
How to save clothes with color bleed. First, do not dry the clothes that have bled. Wash them again in cold or warm water; do not use hot water. If this does not fix the problem, you can soak the clothing in either saltwater or vinegar.
Add a cup of salt to a half gallon of lukewarm water (Epsom or Table salt will work). When using vinegar, add a half cup to a half gallon of cold water. Let the clothes soak for at least 30 minutes, then rinse in cold water. I just use the washer for both methods to eliminate a huge mess; using a tea pitcher to measure the water.
