Untraditional Meat Empanadas

 
Meat Empanadas

1 lb. of ground beef
4 oz. of cream cheese
1 medium onion diced
1 large jalapenos deseeded and diced
1 small can of mushrooms (optional)
4 roll out pie crusts
1/2 tsp of minced garlic
Salt to taste

Brown ground beef, add garlic, onions and jalapenos to sautee. Drain grease and add cheese, stir until melted. Add salt.

Unroll pie crust onto greased bread pan (cut in forths). Place filling in center of one the pie crust pieces. Cover with the other pie crust and press together with fork.

Pop in the oven, cook at 350 degrees for 12 - 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Cucumber dill Greek yogurt dip pairs well with this dish.
