So easy and so good. This recipe is as simple as making a chocolate on chocolate cake and dumping Heath chips into Cool Whip.
What you'll need
1 box of chocolate cake mix & of course the eggs, oil and water.
1 container of chocolate icing
1 large container of Cool Whip.
1 bag of Heath bar chips.
Make and bake cake according to directions. Allow to completely cool.
When the cake has cooled, ice with chocolate icing. Next, in a large bowl, mix Cool Whip and Heath bar chips. Then, ice cake with the Cool Whip & Heath chip mixture.
Place in refrigerator for an hour or more. Then serve.
This cake is even better the next day. Making it in a bundt cake pan, icing as above and filling the interior hole with the cool whip icing is great variation since my family's favorite part is the heath bar mixture.
