Sweet and Savory Wasabi Soy Chicken

Recipe for Wasabi Soy Chicken

This one requires some planning ahead but it is well worth the work. The dish is sweet, savory and delicious.


4 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breast
1/4 cup Teriyaki Sauce
1/4 cup Soy Sauce
1/4 cup Honey
2 tsp. of Wasabi Powder
In a microwaveable safe bowl, pour in Teriyaki, Soy, Honey and Wasabi. Microwave on high for 10 minutes. When finished cooking, whisk all ingredients together. Allow to cool, then refrigerate for a few hours. Making this sauce a day ahead will be better. After the sauce mixture has set, add chicken and allow to marinate over night. When the chicken has marinated; grill over low heat. When juices flow clear, the chicken is done.
For dinner parties, you can also slice chicken breasts length-wise, place on skewers, and then grill. These are fabulous alternatives to hot wings.
