Easy & Inexpensive One Pot Stroganoff Recipe

1 Large Bag of Wide Egg Noodles
1 Pound of Ground Chuck
1/2 Pound of Breakfast Sausage
1 Can of Cream of Mushroom
8 oz of Sour Cream
2 Cups of Milk
3 Cups of Water or Chicken Broth
1 Chicken Bullion Cube if using water instead of broth
1/2 Cup of fresh Chopped Chives or 3 Tablespoons of dried
Salt and pepper to taste

In a large pot, brown ground chuck and sausage together, and then drain. Turn heat to low and add milk and water/broth. Stirring constantly, Add cream of mushroom, sour cream and if using bullion, add it as well. Next, stir in all the egg noodles. You will need to stir constantly to keep the noodles from sticking. Once the liquid is cooked to a gravy consistency, you can add the salt, pepper and chives. Remove from heat, and allow to set 15 minutes before stirring again, and then serving.

This dish is inexpensive, quick, simple and delicious.  Serves 6-8 people.
